International Symposium The Netherlands
Employment, the road to integration
Friday November the 25th, 2005

On the 25th of November a symposium was organised to present our final product. On this page you can find the information about this symposium. Later more information and pictures will follow.

The integration of immigrants is a major issue for all Europeans. Tensions between different groups in European countries have been rising in recent times. In order to survive, societies have to find solutions. The social work departments of three universities and four institutions working with integration programmes in Denmark, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic cooperated with immigrants to develop a method for integration of immigrants, a learning program for social work students and a refresher course for social workers and volunteers. After two years they proudly invite you to see their results. The Leonardo da Vinci programme of the European Community is supporting the project.
